Yes she did.  She told me so everyday and that night I put her to bed when she passed away in her sleep.

She did. I know from her words and actions.

And I' m with SavvyAnsley again, like your other question.

And I'd add -- the fact that I don't need to speak of only one one or two big examples shows, to me, that her love is simply part of her being.

And God help me -- the first thing I thought of reading your question was another ABBA song I like   "Does Your Mother Know?"

    I don't think I've ever heard this!

One of the youtube comments I saw cracked me up:
"Wow a song made in the 70s where a guy REFUSED to sleep with a teenage groupie? Abba was one of a kind! :)"

    Great song!
Glad your mom's a good one, too! :)

    Only now noticed your reply.

That is a funny comment someone posted.  :)

I like this song a lot, yup! (and Mom, too, ha)

No! I was just extra baggage and she wanted a final girl at 40. She never, ever hug me. Not once! No. I take that back. Super she bought me Eagles cassettes and gave me money for beer and clothed me. She did take me to a shrink though and the worm turned for them because it was diagnose that I did not get enough attention as a baby. Just a baffled look. Just in case -- I thought I read a notification that you had replied to my other answer but I don't see one. Maybe I misread.
    :)
Maybe I misread the "like" notification as a "reply."

  • Yes, she did.  The love was seldom expressed in words, but from her actions.  My mother and father were my caregivers for several weeks when I was seriously ill at age 30.  My mother and father were again my caregivers after my operation when I was age 45.

Did and still does. She pressed my hand faintly when I saw her for the last time, it cost her incredible effort to even do that much. That indomitable spirit trapped inside a ruined body, riddled with cancer and racked with pain that even the most powerful sedatives could not dispel entirely - she was still determined to display her love for her children.
I know that in the hand of God she is still caring for a baby, children were her passion - a perfect candidate for the ranks of the Angels Guardian. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at June 22, 2021 10:44 PM MDT
