What is the longest distance that you have traveled?

The longest distance that I have traveled is from my home in the San Francisco Bay Area of California to Taiwan.

    Hafa Adai. We called that the Guamanian workweek. I was there 1971-1972 O the sub tender Hunley.

    The Hunley at Polaris point ! I was on Guam a little after you in the early 80s, spent a lot of days at gab Gabe Beach. I love Guamanian recipes , I still make lumpia and pancit.

    I remember going to the USO on Sundays, where the Navy and Air Force wives had a buffet of Guamanian. I can still taste it. I wonder if Polaris Point is still there.

    I think the point is but I think the Hunley's gone. Did you ever go to Gap Gap Beach or Spanish steps? I've heard Guam's changed a lot since I was there.

    The Hunley was decommissioned in 94 and scrapped in 2007. I never went to those places. My wife refused to go with me and I was quite depressed for many months.

    That's what I thought I remembered hearing about the Hunley but I wasn't quite sure. I have pictures of her somewhere in a box in my basement.

    I don't remember the exact mileage but it was over 6000 miles total. I went on a motorcycle trip from Michigan to Glacier Park Montana. Then through the surrounding states and back to Michigan. Great trip. Nothing like riding a motorcycle through the Rocky Mountains. :)
