Wash it, change the oil and check all the fluids.  Take it for a test drive along the beach, to make sure you didn't miss anything.  Of course you will have to wash it again but it will be worth it.

What a great idea! Will you accompany me?

After surviving that length of time with all the idiot drivers out there, I'd suggest replacing the driver's seat (and passenger seat if you weren't alone).  Those stains will never come out.

I have made a number of such trips and I never did anything special when I got home.

I just park, unpack, and wash it the next day.  Then it's ready to go again.  I probably had an oil change while on the trip so checking fluids and filling up should complete the post trip stuff.

By the way, management has been meaning to speak with you about them. (Cough, cough.)

Much too much time in the gym there, Pal. Eat an apple fritter or three and wash them down with a can of soda, stay out of the weight room. Grrrrrrr.

Oil, fluids, check the tyres and get a wheel alignment if you've been on any rough roads. You'd be surprised at how your suspension can suffer on poorly maintained roads. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at August 8, 2021 7:19 AM MDT
