Have you ever gallivanted?

Possibly in my (very much) younger days.  :)

We always used to do a bit of gallivanting around in foreign ports when I was in the Navy

Sure.  It's what teens and young single adults do.   That was one of my mother's words.  She didn't want us gallivanting all over God's Creation.   I can hear it now.

   Many people usually plan their vacations. They have specific things that they want to do. I didn't. I galivanted. Whether in my car or on my motorcycle, I picked a direction and went where the roads led me. Traveling light and loving every minute of it. :)
