Discussion»Questions»Business» I saw something yesterday I never have before. The store manager where I bought my fishing license was carrying a handgun.
I see it every day here. I carry a gun everywhere I go. Here in Kentucky we have Constitutional Carry, which means no permit needed to carry a gun either open or concealed.
Absent any legislation to step away from the common law, that is the law of the land. Southerners are just used to seeing guns. A rifle in the back seat doesn't cause a cop to go into high gear at a traffic stop. My husband used to always carry a gun, even in a tux once that I remember.
I haven't seen it. My brother owns a hotel. He keeps his gun under the counter when he's behind the desk. I think that's where most shopkeepers keep their guns if they have them. Here, handguns are only allowed for self-defense inside of a person's home or business. We don't have shall-issue concealed carry licenses like the US does.
