I get that. I think maybe I've accepted that people who know me and don't understand me are never going to, and that's okay. I also know that there are people who do understand or 'get' me and just don't like me. And that's okay, too.
Also, I've had a hard time understanding myself in the past and sometimes still do... so there's that. LOL! :)

I learned a long time ago that you can't please everyone, nor should you try.  I don't mean you should be outright rude or mean, but there's nothing wrong with telling someone in a nice way to screw off.  It took me half a lifetime to understand why I did some of things I did, made some of the decisions I made and who I really was.  Now, I'm living the other half with the knowledge that this who I am - take it or leave it.  No matter to me either way.

I hear you 100%. I don't like everyone, not everyone is going to like me. Different strokes for different folks and all that.
    Learning lessons is so cool.

Yes, learning is cool. Too bad some folks have their heads in the sand and don't want to know any  more than they do already.

I thought you were going to say "up their own butts" after heads. ;)

Yes, it's sad. I think most eventually start to come around a bit. Some, at least.

I can't imagine why you would have thought that!:):)

Sometime, things happen that make it impossible to deny the truth and you just have to face it and deal with it.  Those are the lucky ones.

Be understood.  Without that you will never be able to effectively make inquiries, thus,  understand.

I do see your point. I also think there are times when if we concentrate on understanding, our inquiries aren't necessary.

You can't be understood if you don't understand.
