    A Cocker Spaniel named Taffy.  This is not her but looks like I remember her looking.  She had puppies one time and there were  eight or ten of them.  She had a nice big dog house outside and it was in a big fenced area of the yard where we put her at night so she was safe.  She never ever came in the house.  I remember my Pawpaw sitting on the steps at the back door brushing her.  She lived a long time and I remember when she got sick she would be walking and just freeze in motion.  We would pick her up.  They told us she ran away.  I know now she died, probably at the vet.  I'm glad they didn't tell us the truth.

    She sounds very sweet :)  I have a few memories like that when I realized my parents didn’t tell me the truth about something years later  to spare me feeling hurt as a child. It’s weird when you realize it but I as grateful for those non-truths too.

    My first pets name was Bobby Orr. My mothers maiden name was Bobbie Orr. My favorite desert is Oreo cookies and my Super hero is Robert Orr (who is not related to the famous hockey player). Cheers and happy weekend!
