They say splitting an infinity is something that once you start, you can't stop.

A couple of times while sitting on the toilet, I wouldn't recommend it.

Don't screw with infinity. It'll f**k you up!!!

It might be a trick.  People saying things behind my back that I am unaware of.

Splitting an infinity could lead to somewhat indefinite issues. Perhaps instead consider splitting an infinitive, which apparently one may not only do with impunity, but also infinitely.
