We have an old saying: “God made Black, and Black don’t crack.” Many Black people age in a way that seems to hide our passing years. I am not getting wrinkly just yet.
(By coincidence, my sister who is four years my senior brought this up last week when she said that she and I are the only nonsmokers and nondrinkers among our siblings, it’s clearly noticeable that we two are also the youngest-looking among them.)
