Nope. It's freedom of the press and it's an opinion. Slander and Libel require making knowingly false statements about someone that aren't opinion based.
I can say "I think RosieG is a (whatever)." and that is not slander or libel because it's an opinion. I can say ' RosieG isa _____." and as long as I believe it to be true it's not slander or libel even if it isn't true. Libel and slander are both very hard to prove in a court because it's up to the accuser to prove that the person making the statements knew they were false. Outside of the person admitting they knew they were lies it's not easy to prove. Making a false claim against a persons character isn't definitively slander or libel, it only becomes a crime if it is explicitly known to be untrue by the person making the claims.
