Some days are harder than others, but I'm sure there are millions of folks who would trade places with me in a heartbeat. :)

I chose not to jump to "Over-Anxious" Land on a couple of things - - and I didn't worry one bit. And every thing turned out fine anyway.

Congratulations! I know how easy it is to jump to OA Land! I hate that freaking place. I know you generally like theme parks (I do not), but that is the worst one ever!! ;)

I've been listening to this lately - it's a current anthem, for sure!

    My Sams Club order arrived.

    My dinner was wonderful!

I found out my only assignment for Thanksgiving dinner is the Italian bread and one dessert.  I got off easy.

I have cut back to two meals and sometimes one a day.  Yesterday all I had was a veggie gyro, a serving of a KETO cauliflower dish and a few pecans.  Oh, and one piece of sugar free candy.

Today I'm cooking Brussel sprouts fresh from the stalk and yellow peppers in the oven.  Additionally left over chicken cooked in a blend of exotic Indian spices and yoghurt.

S’ok, my friend. It’s not your fault; I read your menu post too late.

I’ll just grab something quick, I always have sandwiches on standby.

I love McDonalds fries  but haven't had them for a long time.  Also love curly fries.  Do you like them as well?

MacDonald’s fries are ok, I guess. In-And-Out has good fries, as does Burger King. Wendy’s currently has a special promotion they cal ‘Hot and Crispy Fries, Guaranteed’. I tried them and they’re no big deal. I’m not much of a fan of Wendy’s anyway. I stay away from Jack-In-The-Box fries altogether, I despise them. My favorite fries are from a place called Del Taco, I think it’s mostly a California thing. They’re crinkly-cut, I like their taste and texture.

I don’t go to fast food places very often, on the occasions that I do go and order fries, regardless of location, I always ask for them with no salt. There is just entirely too much salt in the majority of fast food, the purveyors assume that salt = flavor and more salt = even more flavor. Curly fries and/or any other type of pre-seasoned fries are way too salty for my likes.

Wow, I think I missed out on Del Taco fries. Next time I'm in California I'll give  them a try. Do you like diet Dr Pepper?  I had a professor once that drank it in class, I tried it and liked it, tho now I drink LaCroix.  (no sugar).

I don’t like diet anything. That aftertaste is horrible. I’m practically a militant activist against diet sodas in general, because as bad as regular soda is for us, the beverage industry uses tobacco industry tactics in advertising diet choices as beneficial for people who want to stay away from the regular stuff, yet diet soda is just as bad or worse than regular.

Full disclosure, however: Dr. Pepper (regular) and root beer (regular) are my weaknesses. I don’t drink them daily, but I certainly do drink them a lot, I drink them more than I should. I’ve gone through time periods of my life where I didn’t touch any soda beverages at all; a couple of months here, a few weeks there, two whole years at one point, etc. Each time I abstained, it did me a lot of good, but I’ve never been heavyset or pudgy or pouchy anyway. I have a fast metabolism and I’m hyperactive, so I burn off a lot of what causes a gut in most people.

I’m not familiar with LaCroix at all.
