December 31 1999 celebrating began around 10 pm until 12 noon January 1 2000. Total of.14 hours.

I can't remember. It's been decades since I celebrated them at all.

We partied for two days (Dec. 31 and Jan. 1) when Alabama and Penn State played the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.  Alabama won and this game was the first time Big AL helped Bama do its magic. 

It has never been a memorable holiday for me.  New Years eve is for lovers, I am missing my other half.
