'Covid 19 vaccines are safe and effective' CDC reports. Serious adverse events after covid 19 vaccination are rare but may occur. Vaccines help prevent hospitalization, long covid and deaths.

Anaphylaxis occurred 2 - 5 times per million doses.
Symptoms: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of lips and tongue, easily treated

Thrombosis with thrombocytopenia: (blood clots) 54 reports after 16.4 million doses, 6 confirmed deaths. (J&J vaccine)

For more complete information google 'covid 19 vaccine safety'.

Yet there are more than 10,000 deaths reported in VAERs system. A system that is according to the CDC underreported...they estimate that  only 1% of adverse effects  from  vaccines are reported to the system.

Look at the picture the states in the green are also the states with the least percentage of people who took the clot shot.

In Canada ( if you are interested)

    64,197,951 doses administratored
    6829 adverse events (treatable)
254 doses with outcome of death following vaccination but not necessarily related to vaccine; 92 deaths unlikely linked to vaccine.
Advantage of vaccine against covid well worth the small bit of risk.

You can give her all the facts in the world and she wouldn't believe the vaccines are helpful.

You have a family member die from them and then tell me how helpful they are.

So, millions of other people should not get the vaccine because 1 out of millions died from it?  Makes sense.

VAERs has thousands of deaths reported and according to the CDC VAERs system  is underreported and normally only 1% is reported.

And yes.....1 death is 1 too many. But it not 1 it is thousands possibly  100s of 1000s.

And that does not ever get into all the other health issues it is causing.

So we just sacrifice 100s of 1000s.  (1% gets reported to the system) and with the way they are threatening Dr's and Healthcare workers it is likely less reported than normal.

I guess you are fine with the heart  disease etc.   This post was edited by my2cents at December 29, 2021 1:41 PM MST

I'm fine with vaccines that keep millions of people out of intensive care and from dying.  As with any other vaccines, some of which are mandatory for children, there will be some who don't tolerate them well, but the fact that millions and millions of people are spared disability or death makes it acceptable.  Do you find it acceptable that more than 800,000 people have died unnecessarily because they didn't get vaccinated?  I'll bet you do.

So....Trump is wrong.  Why are the states with the lowest clot shot numbers also have the lowest cases currently.

So, now Trump is wrong.  I see.  Let's see how long the numbers remain low in the states where there is the lowest vaccination rate.

Yes. He is wrong.  But he still would not mandate  them.

Yes we will see how long that case remains.

Yes the covid shots are really helping plus they saved Christmas. We were able to enjoy Christmas this year because we were all vaxed  so we knew that the chances of us getting and spreading covid were very low. Cheers and happy New Year! I had Christmas last year as well.
For your sake and others your love make sure you all get the D-dimmer test to  evaluate for clots.

It's better than nothing at all. All I want are the facts of the vaccine and I feel like I'm getting that. Not just from one source, but many sources. The science works if you let it.

I agree  we should get information  from many sources.  Only problem is media is shutting  down any source they  disagree with.

The inventor of mRNA shots was just banned from Twitter  for posting his information about covid.
I look for info and then look to verify that information.

Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Vermont ... states with low density populations?
That would naturally help prevent the spread of disease.

Hawaii ... self-isolated and required quarantine for those coming in.

Nowhere accounts for the number of people who willingly took precautions other than vaccine, regardless of state mandates.
IE: personal choice to wear masks/gloves, or to increase personal sanitation proceedures.

Personally, if all COVID awareness did was increase the number of people staying home when they didn't feel well and have businesses/schools increase their sanitization proceedures, it would be worth it. This post was edited by Walt O'Reagun at December 29, 2021 1:28 PM MST

OK. This is not the case for LA, AL and MS...all under 50% with the shot.

As I said - there are no statistics showing personal measures such as masking, "social distancing", or increased cleaning.
Even individuals who don't make those choices for themselves are benefiting from increased cleaning at businesses/schools.

Since both COVID and the flu are contagious respiratory diseases spread by droplets - and the number of flu cases have declined dramatically since COVID - we can draw the conclusion that even without receiving the COVID vaccine, people are taking better precautions against disease.

So you believe those actions are not happening  in every state? Surely not.  So why are the lowest dosed states having the lowest cases?  I know they  are happening  in my area and we also have more cases and more people who has taken the shots.
