Did you forget to get something at Christmas time again this year for your favorite grammar police people?

What would make a nice gift for grammar cops?

In the context which you’ve used it here, Christmastime is one word, not two.

The limitations of AM pass part of a word to the next line. You should no that.

Nice attempt to make a dodge, but it’s not even truthful. Kittigate wrote it  with a space between the two words, so no matter how AnswerMug displays it, it’s still incorrect. And yes, I saw your intentionally placed grammatical error.

    This would suit Randy.

I've noticed that Stu becomes aggressively Jewish at times. Is gift-giving at Hanukkah a thing?

I don't think you're supposed to say/write, 'aggressively Jewish', but this made me LOL. Nice Randy gift, too!

It is a thing, but mainly for kids so they don't feel bad about not having Christmas. But what does "aggressively Jewish" even mean? Do you ever get aggressively Australian or aggressively Catholic? This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at December 31, 2021 11:29 AM MST

I've noticed that you can be a little hostile about Christian holidays and Christianity in general. Case in pont, your answer to a joke question of mine.
I get aggressively Australian all the time, I've not been Catholic for more than thirty years.

I don't feel hostile as much as annoyed and maybe overwhelmed at how Christian values, holidays, and practices are forced into everyone's  consciousness by larger society through the media, politics, corporate marketing, etc. Throughout November and December, for example, we are ceaselessly bombarded by Christmas symbolism in the form of colors, music, advertising, and the value of shopping for and spending lots of money on material things. This very question about getting something at Christmastime is a manifestation of that. Someone very aptly described this as Christian privilege as it operates similarly to white privilege. Those of you in the Christian majority, whether or not you think of yourself as a practicing Baptist, Catholic, Lutheran, Presbyterian, or whatever, probably are not even aware of it.

I love you more now than I ever have at any other time in our relationship.

(((What’s that you asked? Am I crying? Me, crying? No, no, no, no, it’s just hay fever, my allergies are acting up, that’s all.  Sob, sniff.))))

    You're welcome.

What kind of artificial tears did you use for that photo? Very real-looking!

    LOL! Good one.

I'd always thought it was Febreeze, and I feel like it should be. Anyone else?

It stings the eyes sufficiently to cause actual tearing. That’s necessary in my case because the last time my tear ducts were active was when I was about 4 years old.  Wait, make that 3 years old.

    Yes, I know.  Because...

What about the Febreze/Febreeze thing? Are you with me on the double 'E'?

Yeah, that’s rich, coming from the Queen of frivolous civil court proceedings, overlapping restraining orders, slammed doors in my face, squirting pepper spray through the peephole, and trap doors under the welcome mat. Grrrrrrrr.
