I prefer coffee rather than hot chocolate. Does that legitimately make me 'in the first person' to ask a question on AM for 2022?

Happy New Year!

Why would you say that about her? I know you’ll most likely say it’s just a joke, but still . . .

I was just making a comment. I had no idea of a joke in mind.

I need the 'in' because 'I' is a first person term.

      “ . . . ‘in the first person’ . . . ”???

Are you referring to the first person singular tense of speech? The way you’ve written it and punctuated doesn’t have anything whatsoever with first person, instead, it makes it as if you’re saying you’re physically inside another person. Do we need that here on a family show? Grrrrrrrr.

I meant the question in first person, eg I, me, my, mine etc.
Second person: you, yours, your, etc.
Third person: they, them, themselves, etc.

Saying 'i prefer coffee.'  in the question puts me in line to be the winner by my use of the first person term 'i'. Uh.. doesn't it?

I think Beancrisp beat you by an hour.  (5 hrs ago...1:00 am Arizona time)

Your question  says 4hrs ago. (2:00 am Arizona time)
This would depend on official  aM time zone. JA is in Arizona  so I went with that as official  time.  This post was edited by my2cents at January 1, 2022 7:33 AM MST

I believe I saw one from Randy posted shortly after midnight. How can you think you would be first given his propensity to be on here 24/7, not to mention your tendency to ask a question in twice as many words as necessary?
