    Often when I'm talking with friends about funny things -- often, their stories go over my head - - and I have a different 'take' on what they are saying and I reply to them in ways that make no sense. Then they explain what they meant and how I got their humor wrong -- and then we all laugh.

    Yeah, that can happen.

    In a way, that made me think of my favorite scene in "Life of Brain" - - where the group way far away from Jesus, mishear Jesus'  "Blessed are the peacemakers." Ha!
