    It makes the sound of someone getting a 24,000 volt jolt when they try to be a peeping Tom.

    It sounds like one of those old-fashioned manual doorbells that you quickly twist a knob to make the bell ring.

    Oh wait, that's exactly what I have.   And I love it.  I also like using the peep hole to watch people trying to discern exactly at what they are looking.
