And I haven't even seen the movie but know of it and this scene - - and I have seen that scene out of context of rest of film. Scene looks very intense. I find Dunaway a great actress. Unsure if I'd want to watch the movie. - - yeah, instead I have no challenges watching flesh-eating undead people slowly walking in the night outside a Pennsylvania farmhouse in 1968's "Night of the Living Dead." I am one walking contradiction. :)
I don't blame you. My mother was truly the dearest of the dear, so it wasn't traumatic for me, the film or the book.

And with all the talk about Betty White, perhaps I'm the only human who much prefers Betty as 'Sue Ann Nivens' on that show as compared to 'Rose Nyland' on "The Golden Girls." And I find "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" funnier than "The Golden Girls." :)
I watched a documentary about Betty White and mention of her character on the show is what prompted me to watch MTM. When I get to her episodes, I'll let you know if also prefer Sue Ann. I'm not really a Golden Girls fan.
