He got elected because he wasn't Trump. A hat rack could have beaten His Royal Orangeness has the Dems nominated one. My hope is that Senator Duckworth nominates. A moderate and a decorated veteran (2 Purple Hearts), she'd get a little bipartisan support - something sadly lacking for the last two decades. My belief is that everyone is marking time until AOC qualifies on age - then she's in. 2 terms.
