Pet peeves generally feed on pettiness and a sense of entitlement.

Yes, I do.  In fact I have too many to list here, but the one that comes to mind is when someone leaves their shopping cart in the middle of the aisle in the supermarket while they go search for some item so you have to move it to get past.

To add onto that is when people finish loading their groceries into their cars, leave the shopping cart right in the middle of a parking space and drive off. Grrrrrrr.

Agreed - especially when the return carrier is only a car away!

And, while we're on the subject of loading groceries - how about the person who insists on sorting their groceries into various bags while at the register instead of putting everything back in the shopping cart and sorting it at their car so everyone else on line doesn't have to wait for them to finish their sorting before they pay.

That's mine. Steam hisses out of my ears.
Funnily enough, there's an easy fix, Aldi in Australia doesn't lose carts, or have them damaged by being hit. Deposit trolleys. You put a $2 coin in a slot to release it from the corral, and get it back when you return it.

Not always.  I usually shop in Walmart Supermarket and the younger women are doing it, too.  Heaven forbid the cashier should help them bag their groceries so the rest of us can get done.

There seems to be a shortage of baggers everywhere.

There aren't baggers, per se, but when the cashier has finished ringing up the customer and sees that they are still putting their groceries in bags, they could help out rather than just stand there watching until the customer is done.

    That stupid 'auto-correct' feature and

Those people who always try to 'one up' when you are talking about some eventful experience in your life.
