What is the most recent machine, device, or other similar type of object that you threw away because it wasn’t working any more?

I had to get rid of my Acme Automatic Vegemite Detection Meter. The batteries are only made in Australia, and a cricket referee who hates me has banned their export to me. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

My microwave oven conked out and I tossed it. I did get a new one because I cannot enjoy my Vegemite and baloney sammiches without a bit of heat treatment.

My little $3 calculator that I keep in the kitchen died.  New battery did not revive it.  I really loved that little helper.
