You are never too old to fall in love.  Having said that, at age 76 (which I am, too), the pool of available people with whom to fall in love diminishes.

Right, the love bug is like the covid bug... can infect anyone!

No.  I think we will always have the capacity for romantic love.

My mom did after being widowed at 84. They had 3+ happy years before she died.

I love to hear this.  My mom is 88 and very healthy and now is getting more and more happy (she just had a hip replacement).

My mom was 88 and very healthy, driving and going to the gym three times a week, but she had a massive stroke, spent 11 days in a coma, and that was that. Mercifully quick.

Healthy and active up until the end.  That really is a blessing.  We hope mom will enjoy pain-free mobility for quite a while.  She is flourishing where she is now living.

People of that age shouldn't do any kind of falling.  Since love isn't always soft, it's better to ease into it

    Because...

    "I'm just a lonely boy"

    "Lonely and blue"

"Waiting for you!" This post was edited by Kittigate at February 15, 2022 7:39 AM MST

Where is she? Just point her out to me; I’ll do all the rest. (Wait, lust counts too, doesn’t it?)
