Medical advice only. The last time I did was when I tore the skin on my right shin from a fall. I took a pic and sent it to my daughter, a nurse practitioner, and asked her If I should go to the ER. It was bleeding quite a bit. She told me to go and she would see me when I got there as she was working that shift. 10 stitches.
And I hadn't had a beer yet. My skin is so thin, it didn't cut. It just tore away..all layers. The PA had a tough time stitching it, but my daughter came down and we all had a fun time. She did a great job.
When trying to fix a plumbing problem. My FIL was my go-to for project advice. My world is different with him not in it. I had not seen him for a few years when he died. I will always regret that.
