In sports losing team never gets consolation prize; you think they should receive some sort of thing to show appreciation for their efforts?

What might be something suitable as consolation prize for the team that tried hard but but failed?

    Because of a provision in the NFL's bargaining agreement with the Players Association, theagreement stipulates players on the winning team earn an extra $150,000 for playing in the Super Bowl, while players on the losing team earn half that amount: $75,000.Feb 13, 2022.
