I got bitten by a wasp under my chin when I was 7 years old while we were out picking blueberries. I'd been bitten by dogs also and cats but I always preferred getting bitten by a wasp.

The worst THING was my sister. It was not the worst bite I even got (that was from a dog).
When we were little kids, my sister was a biter. She learned that biting my brother usually stopped him from picking on her. My brother used to call my sister Pig, and like any little brother would, I copied him. Well, one day I made fun of Pig and she bit me.
Hmmm... she has always claimed to be my older sister, and I don't recall seeing her as a baby... so I'm going to say she was probably born ... before me?
The worst thing that bit me was a fire ant, which actually bites and stings at the same time. I was wearing sandals and it bit me on the toe. The bite wasn't too painful, but I swelled up like a balloon and went into anaphylactic shock.
Like Jane, fire ants. I was a little kid and looked down and I was standing on an ant mound with red ants all over my legs and feet. I couldn't move. Somehow I got into the house and my paw paw took care of it. I don't remember what he did but my sharpest memory of the whole thing is standing there unable to move.
A Shetland sheepdog. Dogs usually like me, I can annoy owners of guard dogs by making friends with them - but this one was schizoid. Let me play with him, threw his ball for him to fetch a few times - then as soon as I turned my back, it went for my calf. I still have the scar.
