Politico reporting that SCOTUS will repeal Roe v Wade completely. What will be the fallout?

It will make abortion a states rights issue.

Will there be riots?

Will it effect the midterms?

    Will there be riots?  Probably

Will it affect the midterms?  I don’t see how it could.

You do not think it will make pro-choice voters more likely to vote?

The Democratic Party is the party in power right now.  So, what’s causing these numbers?  I somehow don’t think it’s related to the abortion issue.

Do you think abortion is big enough of an issue to override what’s causing these disapproval numbers and have an effect on the midterm elections?  I think people are disapproving of the party in power over other things not related to abortion at all.

I think for some people it is a deciding issue.  If it is, it may drive those people to the polls for Dems.

I know when I was young, it was for me.  Still is for me but I have changed sides on the issue.

I know people on both sides for whom it’s a deciding issue.  The one who’s pro-legalized abortion already votes in every election and always votes for Democrats no matter what.  The one who’s anti-legalized abortion already votes in every election and always votes for Republicans no matter what.

I think pretty much everyone who’s either hardcore anti-legalized abortion or hardcore pro-legalized abortion are already voting in every election for either Democrats or Republicans no matter what.

I just don’t think there are enough hardcore pro-legalized abortion people who aren’t already voting to turn out and override the people who‘ll blame the party in power for everything that’s wrong in the next election.

effect affect. Effect is a noun, affect is a verb. "How a thing AFFECTS another thing results in an EFFECT."

Take it up with my2cents, please.  I copied and pasted the part of this question that I was going to answer without looking at it that carefully.  If it was wrong there, it was going to be wrong in whatever I copied and pasted.

I don’t see a grammar ticket being issued for the original question, so it can’t be that important!

I know what happens if Roe is overturned.  Abortion laws become a states rights issue.
Blue states likely nothing changes or regulations will be loosened even more.
Red states many already have abortion laws ready to go into effect the moment Roe is overturned. My state is one. The most it will mean is some people may have to travel to another state to get their abortion.

Yea, the whole thing just makes it more difficult to get an abortion, but not impossible. Unless, The Supremes outlaws it in all 50 states.

SCOTUS cannot outlaw it all together right now. That is not what is for debate in front of them currently. If the case, was about if the unborn human has Constitutional rights....then it would be possible.  In that case, the unborn human as a citizen of the US has a right to LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

I love that hexagon-shaped states map, lol.  It probably shouldn’t be used as a cheat sheet on a geography test.

South Dakota borders Colorado, Kansas borders New Mexico and Arkansas, New York City’s in the Poconos and Oklahoma’s a desert vacation getaway with palm trees growing in it.
