Well when a politician like the president of the Ukraine says it - it means we have to pick up arms to stop a invading force. But when a politician like Trump says it - it would mean we have to pick up arms and over throw democracy and appoint me as king. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at May 10, 2022 8:46 PM MDT

This was a reference to the SCOTUS likely overturning Roe v Wade. This post was edited by my2cents at May 11, 2022 4:17 AM MDT

Almost every single politician is just full of noise (hot air) and almost all of them state the obvious. None actually follow up on anything that needs taking care of. There's so very much red tape one has to get through to even try to get something done. This post was edited by Zack at May 11, 2022 4:18 AM MDT

I think politicians are mostly just full of empty eye-roll worthy buzzwords and catch phrases that the people who adore them love to hear. *gags at the thought of adoring politicians*
