When you were a kid, did you have your own bedroom?

 

 For most of my childhood, I shared with my two brothers until about the age of 12 or 13. There was a lot of turmoil in our family then, and both of them were uprooted from the home.

I got my own room at about age 13.  It wasn't that big of a thing to me but I liked it.  My mother and aunt moved into the room with twin beds giving my sister and me our own bedrooms.  I told mother they didn't need to do that but she wanted me to have my room because I became a teenager.  My sewing machine had been in the den but when I had my own room I could move it in there and sew at any time without bothering anyone. 

Nope.  3 kids and 2 parents in a 2-bedroom house. 
When my older brother and sister go too "old" to be in the same room, my dad built another bedroom onto the house.  I shared it with my brother, my sister got the small bedroom and my parents moved into the "larger" bedroom.  When I was around 13, I used my money to turn the chicken coop in the backyard to a bedroom... and my brother moved into it.  My nephew was conceived down there, and 9 months after that he got married and left home.

No, I shared a bedroom with my three sisters.

From about age 5 on.

Six boys and one girl in a 4 bedroom house. My sister had her own room, ergo I shared with two brothers, and my 3 youngest bros the same.

I had my own bedroom. I sleep in it when I visit my parents.

I'm an only child. Of course, I had my own bedroom.

No. I was one of five siblings. The two boys shared the smaller bedroom and the three girls shared the larger bedroom. My parents actually had the smallest bedroom.
