Absolutely. It's so nice to able to have some night time without having to stay up late. I think it's annoying as hell during the summer when the sun stays out till 10PM. So much nicer to sit outside with a fire or something, drink a beer, and burn one in the dark than the daylight. It's relaxing.
I don't know about where you live but here in the late day summer it also usually takes about another hour and a half to two hours before it cools down enough to truly enjoy that bonfire.
New York. With the clocks set an hour ahead, come July it is still twilight at at 10. The sun sets a little after 9:30 and it doesn't get fully dark until about 10. It's not magical, it's depressing and obnoxious.
Of course you being in sunny Arizona that ignores DST helps you stay oblivious to that extra hour of darkness everybody else gets treated to every first Sunday in November.
I already had my extra hour of darkness for a week. Still struggling to get used to it. Sighs. First year struggling like that. I'm getting to old for that...
