Yes, a few times. I have always gone to emergency to have them removed. I had one doctor at the hospital tell me I could remove it myself because it was my third time in that summer and he even gave me the tool they use for removal to take home but I refuse.

Why refuse? Next time, I'll come up der and remove it. I'm much closer than Randy, eh.

I read that if you don’t pull them out straight and even twist slightly that they vomit inside you. I don’t want the Lyme disease. I’ll check in with you next time I get a tick :)

Not sure about the vomiting but pulling them out incorrectly can result in fragments of the tick left in the wound, and they are likely to turn septic.

That though is not the source of Lyme Disease. If you have been infected that is likely to have happened before you even notice the creature is feeding on you. Its pathogen (a bacterium I think) is transmitted in the mite's saliva.

That makes more sense about the fragments left in your wound. I probably just pictured it as tick vomit when I read it so decided that’s what it was.

Calm down, Welby, calm down, just relax,  man! Breathe, just breathe, stay with me here, just inhale slowly, take your time, exhale just as slowly, stay calm, inhale, exhale, inhale, exhale, that’s it, just breathe, breathe, Welby, stop reaching for the picture, that only makes it worse, focus for me, pay attention, breathe calmly, concentrate, Welby, keep you mind on the moment, it’s just a picture of a bunch of guys, pay attention to what I’m saying, inhale for me and then exhale, try your best to relax . . .

Lol, generally you’re right, I’m not into country music overall, but there are about a dozen or so selections of it that I really like. The song about ticks is so catchy and fun and funny that it’s definitely included in the mix. Here are some of them:

    The Ballad of New Orleans

    Always on My Mind

    Stand By Your Man

    Coal Miner’s Daughter

    Queen of Hearts

    Driving My Life Away

    I Love a Rainy Night

    This Kiss

    Islands in the Stream

    Lady

    The Gambler

    Ticks

When I was about 4 years old I found a tick attached to my penis so I ran downstairs to show mommy and daddy. I still have the scar where it was removed.

Yes, more times than I can count.  This area is "tick central".  NOT getting a tick is unusual.    While I can usually get them out, I had to go to the emergency room to get the last one removed... at 4 in the morning.
