Yep I knew 2 people that were murdered. One was a co worker that got stabbed by his brother. The other one was a family friend that lived a few houses away from us. He was brutally murdered by his son. The son stabbed his father in the belly while he was sleeping then when the father got up the son finished him off with a baseball bat. The guy was hiding in the area for days before he handed him self in so it was a pretty scary 2 days. Cheers!
More than one. My brother in law suffered a brutal beating, shooting, and left to die in a burning house. The details are sickening. It was a couple and the woman talked to stay alive. Her husband has been executed and she will never see the outside of prison again. None of that makes us feel better about losing our loved one.
I just remembered I knew a third person that was murdered. 30 years ago when we lived in Parksville there was a 86 year old woman that was strangled to death well being raped. The morning after the murder there was a cop chopper circling the neighbour hood and the police were going door to door asking questions. When they got to my door I was standing there with my wife and 2 young sons. I said to the cop there is a lot going on is there something I should know about and the female cop said no sir it is just a routine investigation. I think she should of said yes sir there is a sicko on the lose so lock all your doors and windows tonight. Cheers!
