    Okay, but can you really trust the people that told you that?

    I think you should exercise a little extra caution when reaching into the back of your fridge just to be safe.

    I was going to pick up some blue cheese at the store, but now I guess I can save myself the trip.  Now I can make some dipping sauce for those Buffalo wings!  Yum!

    Yes! It contains the bromelain enzyme, which breaks down the connective tissue in proteins (it's an excellent meat tenderizer). So while you're eating the stuff, it's eating you back.

    I buy chopped pineapple to mix in with my pets’ food.  It keeps the dogs from eating gross things they find in the yard.  Likewise, putting it on pizza prevents many humans from eating the pizza.
