It’s an online version of a treasure map, I guess. Follow it carefully, so if you get there first and dig it up, you’ll be swimming in wealth.

I'm glad it didn't just disappear on us like AnswerBag did years ago. Where would we all meet up next? Do we have a contingency plan?

Remember, AnswerBag went through several months of various glitches prior to abruptly and without warning shutting down for good one day. The glitches were progressively and increasingly worse as time passed and eventually were so commonplace that many of us began to call the website “GlitchBag”.

I called it AnswerBug. I've messaged JA about it, no response as yet. Or maybe she has, but due to the glitches I can't see it.

When did AnswerBag disappear? I've been on it for many years and still post there. I did so today. There were periods that I was too busy to participate (as with Answermug) that there may have glitches that I missed. My original profile is still the one I use.

That was in December 2015. Many of us had been on AnswerBag, when it shut down without warning. I think it took a few months, if not years, to resurface with a new look under different ownership. Most of us here are probably exiles from either that old place or Experience Project.

(That comma doesn’t belong there. The entire sentence is one continuing independent clause requiring no punctuation whatsoever until its end.)

I can’t figure out where these ghost posts belong, like these two from Zack and Malizz that are indented in the feed.  I can’t click on them.  They’re only there when I’m logged out, but when I log in they disappear from the feed.  They don’t appear in the user’s activity on their profiles either.

Since this thing began, there are a few answers and comments that I have posted, yet when I go back to that same thread later, they do not show up. Grrrrrrr.

Watch; it might even happen with this one too.

This time the phantom post’s from Thriftymaid.

I’m logged out.  There it is!

Now I’m logged in.  There it isn’t!  How weird.

It’s a singular post from Thriftymaid that I’m talking about.  The post’s (post is) from Thriftymaid.  My sentence doesn’t make any sense using posts instead of post’s.

Weird, when I log out those posts do not appear for me.

Unlock your screen. And that will disappear.

JA has posted that she is working on it.

If you aren't on a mobile device, there's nothing to unlock.

Starti is on a mobile...he has said he uses his IPad.

For desktop I believe JA said to minimize your window and it should remove the menu. But I also think JA said it should be fixed but if you are having problems still to email her at the answermugger at gmail.com and she will try to help. The window is already minimized so I can't see the top of the screen, so why would I want to minimize it further?

I just know that was something JA had posted early as a temp work around until fixed.

If you are still having issues, you should email JA through the answermugger at gmail.com

Your screenshot is exactly what I saw as of 10/8. I got no response to clicking on anything. So, how did you enter your question if the site came up as your screenshot depicts? (I opened the site everyday since the 8th, and today for the first time, the functioning site came up, so here I am.)

It’s difficult to reenact it now that the glitch has been corrected, but the way that I was able to post questions was by trial and error moving around in different parts of the screen and I found a way to post and to do a lot of other things that don’t readily show on the screen. Some of them were icons that were invisible to the eye but just by clicking in the positions where they might have been or had been prior to the glitch, I was able to find certain things.
