Why are there both Science & Technology and Math question categories but no Grammer category?

And where is the outrage from our resident grammar cops?

    (Grammer Grammar category)

[You just earned yourself a second citation for what I believe to be intentional goading of a grammar enforcement officer. It’s highly unlikely that you merely made a mistake like that one, instead, you’re baiting us. Grrrrrrr.]

I’ve introduced this before, both here in AnswerMug and its predecessor, AnswerBag. I suggested things to management that never received any traction. It seems that new or different categories simply don’t get added here. No changes to the list of categories at all, not even the fact that it’s largely an alphabetical list, but not completely alphabetical, nor the fact that as you scroll all the way to the bottom, about a dozen of the categories are repeated, no explanation.

They can't get the glitch at the top of the screen fixed and you want a new category.

Correction, mon amie! If you are referring to the glitch that occurred just a couple of weeks ago, my attempts at category-shifting took place years ago, at least five of them, LOL.

Well, you can see how important your suggestion is.

They are sorted by type of discussion first. (Statements, Questions, General) then alphabetical.
The General section came about when JA was able to retrieve some of the older questions after the update in 2016.

Grammar questions can be asked under the 'Language' category.

True, and technically speaking, especially depending on what exactly is being asked and the vein in which it’s being asked, they can also be appropriately posted in several other of the existing categories, a small sampling of which are Education, Life and Society, Business, Family, Science and Technology, Humor and Jokes, and so on.

If so, we don't need  a grammar category.

I believe categories are determined based on popular demand. Unless there are only three certain members left, there ain't never gonna be no Grammer category.

This post of yours is proof of how much and how badly you need me. I’ll be right there.

Grammer hasn’t been the same since Grampers passed.  She wouldn’t want there to be a Grammer category without a Grampers category.

Wait, you mean to say there’s an available woman out there? Why do you keep these tidbits of information from me? Grrrrrrr. Never mind, just tell me what your grandmother’s favorite massage oils are, and which color of lingerie would look best on her. I can pick up some things from the gift store just before I get to the airport!
