Maybe Noah didn’t intend to bring bedbugs onto the ark.

”**** Japheth!  I told you to leave that bedroll behind!”

”But Dad, Ham brought it, I swear!”

The ticks came in on the deer and the others snuck in as well.

God told Noah that Ham was a silly name for a kid. The Hebrews took that way too seriously and refuse to eat the stuff either ...

Have you considered the possibility that the whole ark story is a myth?

"SOME people..." I personally don't have an opinion about the truth about Noah and the ark.

You aren’t one of those who answered the question as if it was a true story.

It may well have been. There's no definitive proof one way or the other.

That there was a catastrophic flood in the Middle East in late prehistory is practically undeniable, all ancient texts from the region and even as far away as India mention it. Only the name of the protagonist changes - Gilgamesh, Noah, Sargon etc. It was probably the sudden inundation of the fertile valley that is now the Black Sea, that was the "whole world" those people knew. The tsunamis from that event would have lapped at the slopes of Mt Ararat in Turkey, so that fits too.
Some guy puts mom and the chickens on a barn door and floats the hell outta there, and Chinese Whispers does the rest. The story in Genesis was lifted almost word-for-word out of the Babylonian Epic of Gilgamesh. There's quite a lot of syncretism in the Old Testament, due to the children of Israel living cheek-by-jowl with so many different cultures, and being invaded/occupied by them regularly. Of course there was. But the business about Noah and the ark is a fable.

Why don’t you exhibit the same level of intellect in discussing our Electoral College system and the existence of gay and lesbian Republicans?

Forrest Gump 2 got cancelled (I know you’re disappointed. ). but I could see how riding along in Noah’s Ark would fit into the storyline of a weird prequel.  In the cancelled movie, he was riding along with OJ Simpson during his high-speed chase.  He also crashed the Exxon Valdez.

Were they really filming a sequel? Ha! I can envision it all. an the world loving him all over again. I would stay home and watch "Night of the Living Dead" again instead.  :)

But maybe they could bring on a prequel and focus only on Sally Field as Mama Forrest. She was my favorite part of that movie.
