Like I said in another reply, I was looking for two different songs with same title not covers of the same song but it's still fun listening. :)
I tended to prefer Joe Redeye's "Elizabeth"
I didn't like either of the "One-Way Ticket" songs - - and they both made me think of why Elvis Presley was so huge -- these three all sound the same to me.
the song itself, "Rock n Roll is King' probably 'demands' a style that both ELO and Teencats use. Fun song. I liked the instrumental middle section with ELO and their music video is fun. and Teencats' instrumental middle is good to me, too.
I started listening to Teen Cats' "Elisabeth" and immediately liked it. Haven't heard it before. And I loved the cars that appeared toward the beginning of the video -- I want to be more wake to listen. :) Tired right now. Be Well. :)
For me, the best part of the Joe Clay song was watching the groups of dancers in the video. I enjoyed watching the large groups of people all dancing. They're all good to my eyes! Some are particularly impressive in their graceful movement to me.
I started to like the song much better while watching Tom Stormy Trio do the song. I admit I find the guitarist/singer quite attractive and his style is very fun and appealing in the video.
And listening to Rudy Grayzell - - I like how all three of these singers/groups, to me, make the song sound a bit different.
Thanks for all your answers, Chief Ten Bears! I hope to listen to all of them. I spent time elsewhere on site before getting back here to this question of mine.
I haven't listened yet but wanted to let you know I saw your answers.
To me, these two recordings sound like the same song. I was going more for two completely different songs with the same title. But I'm for sure still listening - - I LOVE Malika's version!! I like hearing it in French, too. I really like her voice! Cool.
Wow, I'm so far behind on my question, ha. I think I may try as my goal to go through and listen to all these intriguing answers -- from you and everyone. Yet, I'm only here for a sec again. "I'll be back."
