    I think were it counts Canada is kind of a socialist country (we have a good social safety net system).
    Canada's economy is classified as a mixed market economy with a robust social safety net. This means that Canada has influences from both socialism and capitalism. It is a mix of the two. Many people call this model “social democracy.” Cheers!
