I totally agree.

The wooden ones are the only ones that scare me lol. I don’t get notifications for questions I asked anymore. I found this looking through my profile. Why don’t I get notifications anymore?

Thank you :) can you remind me how to see the list of questions? I logged in wanting to answer questions but I can’t find the screen that just shows the list of questions. I don’t know if I’m out of practice here or if the site is broken lol 

Hehe, do you mean your own questions? On your profile page, there's a "More +" tab at the top, and then "Discussions."

Make sure you are still "subscribed" to your questions. 
When you answer/reply to an answer, you need to be sure to to check the "Send me Notifications  when someone replies....." box under the answer square. 
Always look under the question to see if you are Subscribed.
