Why are they called hemorrhoids when as*teroids would be a more fitting name?

    "Hemorrhoids" are found on men.  "Herorrhoids" are found on women.   But due to gender fluidity, they probably should be referred to as:  "Theyorrhoids", "Theirorrhoids", or "Themorrhoids".


    (Note: this is meant as humor... you know, tongue in cheek).
