I've been to Italy three times and each time I saw a different part of the country although I always hit Rome.  My wanderlust has diminished as I've grown older.  Flying used to be fun - now it's a chore.

I've never been, but I enjoy visiting cities and towns with a riverfront. Very scenic. Did the Pirates win?

Along with ability to visit family/friends, scenery and access to nature/wildlife not found in my own area are my top influences.

They won two of three games in the series I attended.

Pittsburgh has three rivers, lots of yellow bridges, and very cool funicular inclined-plane railroads.

Did you go to Kennywood amusement park? :)
That's why I like going to Pittsburgh - - along with Evans City, Pennsylvania, just a bit north of Pittsburgh (site of the filming of 1968 original "Night of the Living Dead"; and Tom Savini's 1990 the-only-official-remake of "Night of the Living Dead" was also filmed near Pittsburgh) and the home of Andrew Clay Frick was really interesting to me.

I guess I've been too negative about the thought of a vacation.  It probably would be nice if I could take my walker.
