My husband‘s surname is also a given name, so no, I actually won’t say what my married last name is here even though it’s the most obvious answer to me.  

My husband uses his last name in place of his first name because he hates his first name so much.  He even tries to avoid businesses that have a policy of greeting people by their first names.

Any of them are used as middle names today.  It is a trend, and a good one I think, to give oldest son mother's maiden name, most often as the second Christian name. 

Graham - that's fairly common.

Ross - rarer although I have known two separate people, one with that as surname, the other as Christian name.

Jacob - stretching the point somewhat as the surname version normally ends with a 's'.
