This is a bargain?

On the radio, I hear a woman telling me how important fruits and vegetables are for my health.

But all the prep is a hassle.

"Call us/go to website (I forget the name) and everything will be delivered to you, prepped.

Call us/go to website now and you'll get $65 off your first order!"

Back to my PopTart for me

    And to add --

And my thought was, "How much do they want me to spend and how much will all of this cost if $65 off my first order is supposed to entice me?"

I'll probably put this reply on all the fun answers thus far. :)

EDIT: To everyone who answered my question:

I may delete my question. ha.
I recently again heard the radio commercial. But this time, I distinctly heard her:

She says "UP to $65 off your first order."

How unfair of me to post my question. :)

I had originally thought, "How much do they want me to spend and how much will all of this cost if $65 OFF my first order is supposed to entice me?"

How much fruit do you get for $65?  I usually buy cantaloupe and watermelon that's already cut up because I'm too lazy to do it.  In the case of watermelon, I'm also not paying for the heavy rind.  Berries don't have to be "prepared" so they're easy as is.

Instant fruits and veggies... just add water.

    Wait... isn't that called gardening?

    Exactly! Ha!
And the commercial came across as if it may include several different kinds of drink mixtures. I may be wrong.

The vegetables are hops and barley, the prep is malting the barley, adding yeast and water and letting it ferment, refining it with isinglass and bottling it, and letting it rest for a few weeks. I already pay around $60 (Australian) for a carton of that.

Not if you’re diabetic or otherwise needing to limit alcohol and carbs, as I am.

    But enjoy yourself!
