Rain, snow, extremely sunny day or if I'm on the edge of an active volcano that is spewing out small rocks.   This post was edited by Art Lover at September 12, 2023 12:42 PM MDT

The only time I cover my head is if I'm doing gardening or yard work in the summertime (so I don't sunburn my head).

If  I have to go out when it's -30F, I will cover my ears. Otherwise, I'm good.

Broad brimmed hat when umpiring. Not only is it part of the uniform, it also makes sense when you're spending five hours standing in the sun.

I don't like anything on my head.  If it's raining or snowing, I use an umbrella.  I don't sit out in the sun, so no need for a sunhat.  If it's very cold and I have to stand outside for a long period, I might put up the hood on my winter coat, but that's rare.  My hair is short so all I need to do is run a brush through it - weather doesn't affect how I wear my hair.
