I’ve always loved the term “fixing” for cooking/preparing a meal.

I remember it being used often on “Sanford and Son.”

Do you know how it originated?

I don't think I have ever had turkey in my beans but sounds good.

I made a scrambled egg sandwich for breakfast, a roast beef and Swiss cheese sandwich for lunch and Korean beef and broccoli for dinner (Healthy Choice meal).

The only oatmeal that doesn't make me gag just thinking about is oatmeal cookies.

Toasted ham and cheese on rye.  This is the first January 1 in many years that I haven't eating black eyed peas.

I've "liked" other posts here too -- so as not to be the judgmental vegetarian, which would deprive SavvyAnsley of her main source of entertainment -- but finally here's one I can agree sounds great! This post was edited by Danilo_G at January 9, 2024 2:13 PM MST
