Have you been watching the Willis-Wade saga online?

I've been glued to my computer since Willis made her demand to testify.  The arrogance she showed throughout her testimony was shocking. Attorney Merchant has been a treat to watch.  What do you think the outcome will be, today is the final arguments.

I've been following it in the news.  Frankly, I don't see where the conflict is - both Willis and Wade are on the same side and their personal affair doesn't make Trump any less guilty if they have the proof.

That's not the point, she admitted to using campaign funds for her personal use, that's illegal.  She hired Wade (my understanding, she paid him 750,000 a year) who had ever had a felony case, to prosecute Trump then they used his income to travel the world.  They both tried to cover it all up and lied in court.  Her arrogance is appalling.

What does any of that have to do with the charges against Trump?  Nothing - that's what.

Oh, but there is more, much more, collusion, perjury, lots of juicy stuff.

And how, exactly, did any of that connect to the charges brought against Trump?  Either the charges are founded on facts, which would be determined by a jury, or they don't hold up.  In either event, the charges against Trump are a separate issue from Wade and Willis' personal affair.

If it can be proven she brought charges for her and her boyfriend's financial benefit, it has everything to do with the charges against Trump and the other defendants. If there is proof of both their committing perjury to the courts...it has everything to do with the creditablity of those charges.

How did bringing a case against Trump bring her financial benefit?  If the charges against Trump are factual, there is no connected to what they did in their private lives.  They are two separate issues, neither having anything to do with the other.

Her boyfriend has gotten paid over $650,000 for this case...and some of that money was spent of her.  The other 2 special prosecutors on the case have not been paid over $100,000 for the same time period.

If I was a Trump hater, I would be so ticked off at this woman for blowing this case up with unprofessional and likely illegal acts.

Her private life and her case against Trump are two separate issues.  I'm not sure why you can't understand that.  If the charges against Trump are factual, they have nothing to do with whom she's sleeping or how much money he got paid to do the work.

Evidently not....or the judge would not have bothered with this 2 week delay in the case.  This post was edited by my2cents at March 2, 2024 10:43 AM MST

I haven't, but it's certainly interesting. Although, as Willis said, she's not supposed to be the one on trial, hehe.

I have seen some.  Enough know that woman should not be allowed to prosecute anyone.

I did listen  to some of the closing arguments today. At least, Fani had her dress on correctly today....it was on backwards when she testified the first time.  This post was edited by my2cents at March 1, 2024 3:21 PM MST
