    Trump's numbers will rise.

The Supremes also schooled New York on the First Amendment today.

I heard that as well....huge win for the NRA and it was unanimous. And if the case is successful it will have far reaching implications.

Nope. Trump's besotted worshippers would vote for him even if he stabbed a pregnant woman in the middle of Times Square in broad daylight. And the "Never Trumpers" wouldn't vote for him even if his only opponent was Joseph Stalin.
What this does do is smash the wedge that already existed between the GOP and the Democrats with a 20lb sledgehammer, there will be absolutely no room for bipartisanship now.

You say that like it is a bad thing.

Four years of government inertia is always a bad thing. Nothing will be passed if the Dems continue to hold the Senate, as is likely. They picked up a seat at the midterms, which is almost unheard of during an economic downturn.

I disagree.    Bipartisanship leads to voters on both sides being betrayed.

"Yes, voting for someone who stabs a pregnant woman is a bad thing to me, at least."

Had to smile to myself - - that was my first thought before reading more and seeing it was your thoughts about bipartisanship.  :)
