And, AGAIN, ten times out of ten, I don't musically agree with lots of people -- question follows:


According to a little short video I saw, Rolling Stone readers voted for the ten worst songs of the 1980's.

And I don't agree with a single song on the list as being ANYWHERE near the worst I've heard from the '80's.


Do you agree with this Worst List?

    I don't think they are the worst but I do think they are.among the most overused in movies commercials etc.

    I admit I don't pay too close attention of how often I've heard any of the songs.  I do like all of them except #2.  But even #2 is not a bad song to me.

    The worst song of all time is White Horse by Laid Back.  It's a monotonous three-minute commercial for cocaine.

    I looked it up and listened/watched the music video. I do remember it now. I get your point about the song but I admit somehow it does appeal to me in some ways.

    And very attractive people in the group and/or music video to me! Especially that guy walking at the very beginning and through entire video. I like the video but also admit I probably don't understand it at all. But I smiled a lot. :)

      I absolutely DESPISE Bobby McFerrin’s "Don't Worry, Be Happy", and I mildly despise Falco’s “Rock Me, Amadeus".
      I absolutely LOVE each and every other one of the songs on the list.

    I get it about McFerrin's song. I've heard lots of "worse" songs. It dd get overplayed to me.

    Like I mentioned up there, "The Final Countdown"  has always been "eh" to me, don't know why, though. Maybe I heard the song the first time eating at a Burger King after forgetting to tell them to hold the mayo on my Whopper.

      I think that Australian guy or Livvie or Shuhak or Savvy or Jane S hijacked my computer just to make me look bad. It’s not easy when scores of people adore me yet it causes envy among  scattered few others. Grrrrrrrr.
