And, AGAIN, ten times out of ten, I don't musically agree with lots of people -- question follows:

According to a little short video I saw, Rolling Stone readers voted for the ten worst songs of the 1980's.

And I don't agree with a single song on the list as being ANYWHERE near the worst I've heard from the '80's.

Do you agree with this Worst List?

10)  Rick Astley      "Never Going to Give You Up"
9)  Taco                "Puttin' on the Ritz"
8) Toni Basil           "Mickey"
7) Bobby McFerrin  "Don't Worry, Be Happy"
6) Falco                  "Rock Me Amadeus"
5) Men Without Hats   "The Safety Dance"
4) Wham!               "Wake Me Up Before You GoGo"
3) Chris DeBurgh     "Lady in Red"
2) Europe               "The Final Countdown"
1) Starship              "We Built this City"

I don't think they are the worst but I do think they are.among the most overused in movies commercials etc.

I admit I don't pay too close attention of how often I've heard any of the songs.  I do like all of them except #2.  But even #2 is not a bad song to me.

I like 3,4,7,9,10.  The others I don't recognize by the name.

I definitely don't think "Mickey" or "We Built this City" should be in there.

Both are cheesy as hell but that's what 80s music was all about.

The worst song of all time is White Horse by Laid Back.  It's a monotonous three-minute commercial for cocaine.

I absolutely DESPISE Bobby McFerrin’s "Don't Worry, Be Happy", and I mildly despise Falco’s “Rock Me, Amadeus".
I absolutely LOVE each and every other one of the songs on the list.
