Is this lady for real?

I have no idea but she creeps me out -- creeps me WAY, way out -- yes, she creeps me out. Especially that second one.

Looks like AI art again, or something. I'm not a fan of the AI art stuff I've seen -- the styles all sort of look the same to me somehow.

Give me an Edward Hopper woman any time.  Give me Edward Hopper anything. I don't need Artificial Art when Human Edward Hopper and many others exist. :)

    Be Well!  :)

I identify with that painting, I like it a lot. I share your aversion to creepy AI photos.  They creep me out to the max.  This post was edited by . at July 11, 2024 6:29 PM MDT

I know! It's such a travesty of art.

Completely!!!  However, I do like the first one, the second one is too scary.  This post was edited by . at July 12, 2024 5:20 AM MDT

I truly can say I like every piece of Hopper's work that I've seen.  :)

Oh yes, now I know who he is, didn't recognize the name and I agree with you completely.  This is the first work of his I saw; very thought provoking.

Yes, Hopper's "Nighthawks" was the first painting I saw of his, too. I saw it as a little boy in the board game "Masterpiece."  I played that game a lot. And Hopper's painting was my favorite painting of all the paintings in the game.
I was an immediate Hopper fan as a ten-years-old-or-so boy. :)

He provokes so much within me, too.

It's been a very long time since I saw anything of his, now I go back a re-visit his work and enjoy it once more. Thanks for your post.

Hummm that would be a no, except for the jewels, I like shiny things. The eyes don't reflect any kind tender emotions, to the contrary they are hard to look at.   This post was edited by . at July 11, 2024 6:29 PM MDT

A cheap imitation of the real thing. That's my learned, coined expression of any travesty.
