Without looking them up, can you name three rappers?

Bonus...name three who haven't committed a crime and have not been in jail.

I guess I never thought of TLC as rappers but this is an impressive list, especially if you knew them all at the drop of  a hat. :)

Thank you.    And I actually know at least one song from each these artists. TLC definitely rapped in some of their songs.

Very true, you're right about TLC.  I guess I never quite thought of them as rappers. I love their music. I guess I like how they incorporate the rapping in a very musical-to-me way to me
    I like Vanilla Ice, too.

They were good at both singing and mixing the rap in.  It is a shame that one passed away so young.   I also remember seeing a documentary saying they really did not get the money that they should have from their songs either.

Did you see where Vanilla Ice did some kind of a show with the Ninja Turtles as a 80s throwback?

Yes, I agree about the one member. Hadn't known the details about the documentary (or, at least, I've not watched it yet).
    Hadn't known about Vanilla Ice/Turtles.

Serious answer - Hilltop Hoods, one of my son's favourite hip hop outfits from right here in Adelaide. There are three of them.
Run-DMC - joined Aerosmith for a remake of Walk This Way.
50 Cent, for being part of a joke - he opened for Nickelback so the tickets only cost 45 cents. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at September 15, 2024 7:57 AM MDT

I prefer the RunDMC and Aerosmith version over the original.
