Guess who just got another law suit filled against him?

You will never guess so I will just tell you – it is Donald J Trump.

The United Auto Workers labor union is trying to organize workers at Tesla. When Trump was talking to Musk about it he said - You walk in, you say, You want to quit? They go on strike, I won’t mention the name of the company, but they go on strike and you say, ‘That’s OK, you’re all gone. You’re all gone. So, every one of you is gone.” That could be against a federal law about threatening to fire workers who go on strike. and even if it isn't it shows Trump doesn't care about workers. Cheers!

Well, we know Trump is not for the working person, so this doesn't surprise me. This post was edited by Spunky at August 13, 2024 4:16 PM MDT

I take that back. Trump is more of the kind of guy that would arrange for scabs to come in and take over the striking workers jobs. So I think we should start calling him Major Scabs. Cheers!

Some people can't see that in spite of some issues with unions, they are what helped build the middle class. Of course, big business doesn't like anything that keeps their CEO's from raking in obscene amounts of money.

That's because they are likely not teaching anything in school about the union movement in this country.  It was so long ago that younger people today have come to expect all the perks that unions created without giving credit from whence they came. It will be thrown out.   There is nothing to prove what company Trump was talking about.   And it has indeed happened that businesses fired everyone over union issues.   Using their logic any company with working trying to form a union right now could sue....

Might get thrown out of court - but it will likely cost Trump votes. Cheers!

Nah, people are catching on to the lawfare.  It is backfiring but the left cannot help themselves.

Come election day union workers all across America won’t be thinking about law fare - they will be thinking about the union busting talk Trump had with Musk. Cheers!

Over 1Billion listeners.  (12% of the entire population of the PLANET)
    70% of listeners under 18-35.
    46% Female.

So it was heard. By a lot of people.  I know I listened and I am certainly voting for Trump.

Trump just claimed that his Jan. 6th speach had a crowd as big or bigger than the crowd at Martin Luther Kings – I Have a Dream speech. There was an est 53.000 at Trump's speach and 250.000 at kings speach.  So I am a little skeptical that over a billion people tuned in to hear Musk and Trump. Cheers!

Here is a link to the full unedited interview.  Give it a listen without media trying to tell you what was said or not said.

Nothing will cost Trump votes, his base is voting for him (personality cult), nobody else is. The question is whether it will makes any of those who oppose Trump but can't be ar$ed to do anything about it angry enough to show up and vote. Personally I doubt it.
'Lennials and Gen Z are a liberal bunch but historically the 18-35 demographic can't be bothered to do anything about it.
